The moon in the sky,  The darkness of night,  Waiting alone,  Watching birds take flight.   
The silence of night,  And the darkness of town,   Was suddenly broken,  By the guns all around.   
On a rooftop,  Near a bridge,  Laying and waiting,  Was a sniper on the edge.   
Waiting alone,  In the cold and the dark,  Lighting a match,  And seeing a spark.   
A bullet whizzed pass,  Right near his head,  Any closer,  And he would’ve been dead.

A kingdom of voices  A kingdom of sounds  There used to be voices  And people around   
The future you chose  The path you created  Now lives are lost  And your kingdom is naked  Once a merry kingdom  is now an empty hole  It's just you on your thrown  And you are growing old   
There wasn't a reason  It was just a choice  Now you sit and wonder  If you should've listened to that voice Kingdom come
